Rangel Construction Receives Diocesan Blessing for New Pastoral Center
After an interview process involving several regional construction companies, the Catholic Diocese of Rapid City, SD, has appointed Rangel Construction with the mission of constructing its new Diocesan Pastoral Center.
The Center, which will serve as the chancery and diocesan administrative headquarters, as well as a site for spiritual renewal, will be located in the former Black Hills Federal Credit Union branch at 225 Main St in Rapid City.
The plan for the project includes the remodel and renovation of over 25,000 sq ft of office space and will include a new chapel and dining area as well as space for archives and storage. ARC International of Rapid City has been chosen as the architectural firm on the undertaking.
The project is slated to begin in summer 2019 and will take approximately 7-10 months to complete.
Thank you to Bishop Robert Gruss and the administration of the diocese for their confidence in Rangel Construction on this important project.
