Recently, Rangel Construction has been involved in implementing numerous improvements and renovations to the historic Fairmont Creamery Company building, located in downtown Rapid City. One of the latest projects includes adding an elevator to the building, which will provide ADA compliance and access to the many tenants utilizing the upper floors. The project is expected to be completed near the end of 2024.
On the weekend of March 22-24, our residential project manager Josh Chamberlain and superintendent Michael DeLeon participated in the Black Hills Home Builders Association Home Show, which was held at the Monument in Rapid City. Rangel Construction recently joined as members of the BHHBA after becoming more involved in the custom homes market. This is the second year Rangel has participated in the Home Show, as the housing market continues to grow in South Dakota.
Rangel Construction Company was recently awarded three design-build contracts for districts on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Through a competitive RFP process, the Oglala Sioux Tribe has awarded the contracts to design and construct government service buildings for the districts of Pine Ridge, Oglala, and Wakpamni.
Early this past August, Rangel Construction completed the construction of a new residence for Camille and Michael Pauley. The new 4,600 square-foot home features one large bedroom, a full bathroom, a master bedroom with adjoining master bathroom, two executive offices, and plenty of closet space on the upper level.
